Archibald George Gosper (1842–1927)

The death took place in the Parkes Hospital on Sunday of Mr. Archibald George Gosper, aged 84, an old resident of Manildra, who has of late years resided in Parkes. Deceased injured his knee and underwent an operation, from the effects of which he never rallied. His wife predeceased him some six years ago, but a large family of sons and daughters survive. The body was yesterday taken by Mr. J. T. Cock by motor hearse for interment alongside that of his late wife in the Church of England cemetery at Meranburn, the Rev. Bate, of Molong, officiating at the graveside.
