We regret to hear of the death of Mr. A. [Abraham] Cohen of Cohen's Family Hotel, Sydney, which occurred on Friday last after a long illness at the age of sixty-two. Mr. Cohen was at one time a storekeeper in Goulburn, and for many years past kept one of the best hotels in the metropolis. In early life he followed the profession of journalism; and he was a highly intelligent, well-educated, and well-informed man. Mr. F. S. Cohen, auctioneer, of Goulburn, Mr. Henry Cohen, barrister; and Mr. George Cohen of Cooma are sons of the deceased. He deservedly enjoyed the respect and esteem of all who knew him.
