Henry Whalan (1845–1923)

Mr. Henry Whalan passed away at his residence last Sunday morning after an illness of a few weeks. Deceased was 78 years of age, and had lived practically all his life in this district. He has left a widow and grown up family of three daughters and four sons. The funeral, which took place on Monday, was very largely attended. He was laid to rest in the old Methodist cemetery, Rev. A. D. Bromhead, Church of England rector, officiating at the graveside. Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved relatives.
