Elizabeth Carter (1842–1904)

Mrs Carter, relict of the late Mr John C. Carter, of Rosebrook (brother of Mr S. Carter, of Glenisla) died on Wednesday from dropsy and heart failure at the age of 62 years. After the death of her husband at Rosebrook, Mrs Carter removed to Portland, where she lived for some years. The remains were interred in the family grave at the Ararat cemetery, and deep regret is expressed at her demise.
