Lisle Ben Sutherland (1895–1916)

Private Lisle Ben Sutherland, youngest son of Councillor Peter Sutherland, of Thologolong Station, president of the Shire of Towong, was killed in action in France on July 19. Only three years ago Private Sutherland was in the sixth class of the Tallangatta State School. Another son, John, is fighting at the front.
