Emilie Henrietta Suttor (1855–1929)

The death occurred at her residence, Brucedale, Peel, of Mrs. Emilie Henrietta Suttor, wife of Mr. Herbert Cochrane Suttor, brother of the late Sir Francis Suttor. Mrs. Suttor was born at Wyagdon 74 years ago. She took a prominent part in women's local movements for many years, and was president of the local branch of the Country Women's Association. She leaves a husband and three sons - Messrs. Claude Suttor, of Emmagool, Dubbo; Roy Suttor, of Brucedale, Peel; Ronald Suttor, of Glengowda, Coonabarabran - and four daughters - Miss Suttor, of Brucedale, Peel; Mrs. Cecil W. Manning, of Bathurst; Mrs. F. H. Cox, of Uralla; and Mrs. W. V. Robertson, of Blarney, Glanmire. The funeral took place privately at Kelso Cemetery.
