Mr. A Bruce Suttor, whose death was announced in yesterday's Herald was an authority on many phases of primary production. He was the author of a number of publications, and contributed numerous articles to the Agricultural Gazette, on the frozen meat industry, methods of clearing prickly pear country, the rotation of crops, and wheat values.
He was a grandson of George Suttor, who arrived in Sydney in 1800, and of whose 150 descendants 64 served in various capacities during the war. His brother was Sir Francis Suttor, a former President of the Legislative Council. He is survived by a son, Mr. H. B. Suttor and four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stokes, Mrs. Du Faur, Mrs. F. A. Ormiston, and Miss G Suttor.
