Mr Myer Rintel, licensee of the Victoria Hotel, died early on Tuesday morning. He had been in indifferent health for some months past, and recently took a trip in Queensland but was not much benefited. Some months ago he entered upon an extensive scheme for the remodelling of the hotel, but, owing to his health, was unable to carry it out.
