Flora Frances North (1862–1950)

A former mayoress of Cottesloe, Mrs. Flora Frances North, widow of the late Mr. F. D. North died on Wednesday night. Living in Cottesloe most of her life, she worked for many charitable cauises, and during World War I was president of the Cottesloe branch of the Red Cross Society. Mrs. North was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hamersley, of Pyrton, Guildford. She was the mother of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly (Mr. C. North).
