An old landmark, in the person of Mr Stephen Everingham, passed away in the Windsor Hospital, at the age of 66, on Wednesday, 4th inst. A few weeks ago he was seized by a paralytic stroke and conveyed to the said hospital, where it was also discovered that he was suffering from hydatids. The old gentleman seemed to rally for a time and gained consciousness, and then he took a turn for the worse again, and it was well known to his friends that the end was near at hand. Deceased was a brother to Mr Thos. Everingham, of this locality, and also to Mr Joshua Everingham, of Sydney, these being his only two brothers still living. The remains were interred in the Methodist portion of the West Portland cemetery, the funeral arrangements being in the hands of Mr J. W. Chandler, of Windsor, while the obsequies were carried out by Rev. T. Rudd. Sincere sympathy is felt for the relatives.
