Alfred Cotton (1829–1901)

On 16th instant Mr. Alfred Cotton, an old and respected resident, died at the advanced age of 71 years, leaving a wife, son, daughter and sister, besides a large circle of friends to mourn their loss. He was born at Sackville Reach in June 1829, living there many years. In 1871 he came to the Clarence, where he has since resided, following agricultural pursuits.
