Edgar Sydney Kable (1848–1923)

Died recently at Parramatta, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. P. Eadis, Edgar Sydney Kable, second son of the late John Kable, of Windsor, aged 75 years. He was born at Windsor. His grandfather and grandmother, Henry Kable and Susannah Holmes, came in the First Fleet, and were amongst the first couples married by Rev. Richard Johnson, the pioneer parson. A widow and ten children survive Mr. E. S. Kable, the eldest daughter being Mrs. Ada Windsor, of Waterloo.
