William Pomeroy Greene (1866–1934)

The news of the death of Mr William Pomeroy Greene which occurred last night in a private hospital after a short illness will be learned with regret by a wide circle of friends. Mr Greene, who was the son of the late Mr Molesworth Richard Greene, was educated at the Melbourne Grammar School. For many years he was a member of the Melbourne Stock Exchange, and he was a partner of the late Mr Harry Brash. He succeeded his father in the ownership of the family property Greystones at Rowsley near Bacchus Marsh. He was a member of the Melbourne Club. He leaves a widow but no family. The funeral will leave the mortuary chapel of A A Sleight Pty Ltd to-day, at 3 pm for the Melbourne crematorium at Fawkner.
