William Henry Boyter (1842–1925)

The death occurred recently at Jerseyville, Macleay River, of Mr. William Henry Boyter, aged 83 years. A native of Colo, on the Hawkesbury River, he came to the Macleay about 46 years ago, after spending a few years on the Bellinger River. He lived at Jerseyville for 27 years. The late Mr. Boyter was a very fine type of pioneer, and experienced many difficulties after he drove in a dray with all his belongings from the Hawkesbury to the Macleay.
