Herbert Hamersley Barton (1870–1892)

Mr. Herbert Hamersley Barton, second son of Mr George Burnett Barton, and nephew of the Hon. Edmund Barton, died in Sydney, from the effects of rheumatic fever, on the 9th Instant. For the past few month's Mr. Barton had been employed under the Under-Secretary of Justice. On Friday afternoon the remains were interred at Waverley, where the coffin was borne to it's resting place by several officers of the Department of Justice.
