Ellen Maria Angel (1864–1930)

The death occurred last evening of a very old and highly respected resident of the Wagga district in Mrs. Ellen Maria Angel, wife of Mr. Edward J. Angel, of "Springvale," Lake Albert, after a very long illness, at the age of 66 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Power, of Forest Hill, and was married at Adelong. There is one daughter of the marriage, Miss Gertrude Angel, of Lake Albert. The deceased is survived by her husband and daughter and nine step-children, Messrs. Stanley, Leslie, Walter, Harvey, Horace and Harold Angel, step-sons, and Mrs. W. Wilson, of Wentworthville, Sydney, Mrs. W. Miller, of Temora, and Miss Ivy Angel, of Lake Albert, step-daughters. Mr. Samuel Angel, of Trail street, Wagga, is a brother-in-law. The funeral will move from "Springvale" at 3 o'clock this afternoon for interment in the Church of England portion of the Wagga cemetery.
