Charles Kevern Thorn (1859–1940)

An old resident of the district and one who was held in the highest esteem — Mr. Charles Kevern Thorn — died in Wollongong Hospital on Tuesday night. He was 90 years of age and had been in business for many years as a carpenter and builder. He collapsed at his home last Friday and was removed to hospital. The funeral moved from his daughter's residence (Mrs. L. Lane, 114 Railway street) yesterday for the Woronora Crematorium.
