William Ritchie (Bill) Suttie (1910–1982)

The Queensland Division wishes to record the deaths of several well-known retired members of the Institute during 1982: Willian Ritchie (Bill) Suttie (1910–1982):

Formerly Director of Forests in New Guinea, a position he went to after leaving the Queensland Department of Forestry in 1956. Bill graduated from A.F.S. in 1932 and held several positions with the Department, the last being District Forester Atherton in North Queensland. He had been living at Caloundra since his retirement.
