Henry Montague Stephen (1879–1934)

Mr. Henry Montagu Stephen, second son of the late Mr. Cecil B. Stephen, K.C., died at a private hospital at Darlinghurst yesterday, aged 55 years. He was born at Edgecliff, and was educated at Sydney Grammar School and Sydney University. He was subsequently called to the Bar, and practised for many years in Sydney. He retired some years ago. He travelled extensively abroad, and was a frequent visitor to Tasmania, where he spent much time fly fishing. He was also a keen golfer. He was a member of the Union Club, the University Club, and the Royal Sydney Golf Club. He was unmarried.

The funeral will take place tomorrow at Waverley Cemetery, following a service at St. John's, Darlinghurst, at 10 a.m.
