Edwin Charles Muecke (1864–1941)

Mr. Edwin Charles Muecke died at his home, 57 Walkerville terrace, Gilberton, on Saturday at the age of 78. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. H. C. E. Muecke and was for many years, until his retirement a few years ago, a member of the firm of H. Muecke and Company, shipping agents. For many years he was associated with the volunteer militia forces, retiring with the rank of major. He was a member of the Stock Exchange Club and the North Adelaide Cycling Club. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. M. N. Hack, of Gilberton. Messrs. Andrew and L. H. Muecke and Dr. F. M. Muecke (London) are brothers.
