Henrietta Macdonald (?–1895)

A painfully sudden death occurred here yesterday morning. Miss Henrietta McDonald, third daughter of Dr. McDonald, of Sale, and granddaughter of the late Mr. Langlands, the pioneer of Horsham who was on a visit to her uncle, Mr John Langlands, and who up to yesterday had been in perfect health, was taken ill at the conclusion of a dance. At first serious consequences were not anticipated, but at 2 o'clock on thursday morning the unfortunate young lady was dead. The cause of death was peritonitis.
