Agnes Barbara King (?–1933)

The death occurred at Manly on Saturday last of Mrs. Agnes Barbara King, widow of the late Mr. G. K. King, of Strathfield. She was the only daughter of the late Mr. Charles Macarthur, of Launceston, Tasmania, a grandaughter of Mr. Hannibal Macarthur, of Vineyard, near Parramatta, and great-grand-daughter of Governor King.

Mrs. King was secretary of the 1st, 10th, and 12th Field Artillery Brigade Comforts Fund from 1915 to 1919.

She is survived by one son, Lieut.-Colonel Giffard Macarthur King, C.M.G., D.S.O., V.D., and four daughters, Misses Ethel, Polly, and Dolly Macarthur King, and Mrs. A. J. Webster, of Picton.
