Mrs. Hetherington, Tumbarumba, received word on Monday last that her son, Private Albert Hetherington, died of wounds on August 8th. He enlisted at Ganmain two years ago and was wounded twice. A brother is still fighting on the western front. Again will the deepest sympathy of the community go out to the bereaved relatives. A memorial service will be held for the two heroes at St. Jude's Church on Sunday, 15th September.
