Arthur Henry Hammond (1849–1939)

Arthur H. A. [Henry Albert] Hammond died at his residence, "Rosevale," Byron Bay, aged 89 years. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. Henry Hammond, of the South Coast district. He married Miss Esther McDonough, of Bega, who predeceased him several years ago. Four daughters are also deceased. The late Mr. Hammond is survived by a step-brother, Mr. Greg Hammond, of Candelo; one son, three daughters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral took place at Byron Bay.
