George Fisher (1836–1879)

The news of the loss of the Rosette has thrown one family here into grief and mourning, that of Mr. George Fisher, who was one of her passengers. Mr. Fisher was a native of York, and was much respected. He will be sadly missed at Nickol Bay, where his unfortunate wife is still residing.
