Solomon Emanuel (1833–1895)

Death of Mr. Solomon Emanuel. The death is announced at the Australia Hotel, Sydney, on Friday last, of Mr. Solomon Emanuel at the age of 62. The late Mr. Emanuel was well known in Goulburn. He was the proprietor of the premises now occupied Mr. W. E. Brasnett. These were known as the Beehive Stores, and were at one time carried on by Mr. Emanuel's father with his son and afterwards by the latter alone. Deceased at one time resided at Lansdowne. He had been unwell for some time, suffering from an affection of liver.
