Arthur Peel Cohen (1905–1949)

Mr. Arthur Peel Cohen, a former Newcastle solicitor, died on Sunday at his home at Tamworth.

Born in Tamworth, Mr. Cohen came to Newcastle in 1934 as a partner in the legal firm of W. H. Baker. He remained in Newcastle until 1941, when he joined the A.I.F. He served in the Middle East and New Guinea.

He returned to Newcastle for a short while before going to Tamworth.

He is survived by a widow and two children.
