John Dowling Brown (1825–1899)

At his residence, Darlinghurst, on Friday, Mr. John Dowling Brown, ex-Superintendent of Police, died at the age of 74 years. The deceased was well known in Armidale and Deniliquin, in which places he had been stationed for many years.
