Herbert Harrington Brown (1839–1929)

The death occurred at a private hospital yesterday of Mr. Herbert Harrington Brown ex-M.L.A. He was 90 years of age. Mr. Brown was first elected to the State Legislative Assembly as member for the Paterson electoral district on March 18, 1875, and was re-elected in 1877. In 1880 he successfully contested the Durham seat, which he held continuously until 1895. He was a member in 10 Parliaments. The funeral will leave Wood Coffill's mortuary chapel, George-street, at 1.30 p.m., to-day for the Church of England Cemetery, Northern Suburbs.
