Arthur Solomon Benjamin (1855–1920)

The death is announced by cable from London, of Mr. Arthur Benjamin, elder brother of Mr. Louis S. Benjamin, of "Wyalla," Queen's road, St. Kilda, and of Mrs. Lewis Sanders, of Alma-road, St. Kilda. The deceased gentleman was a son of the late Mr. Solomon Benjamin, one of the early benefactors and founders of the Bourke street Synagogue, Melbourne. Mr. Benjamin leaves a widow (daughter of the late Mr. William Cohen, of Sydney), and two daughters.
