George Suttor (1774–1859)

It is our melancholy duty to announce in the obituary to-day the decease of Mr. George Suttor, the aged and highly respected father of the member for the county of Bathurst (Mr. William Henry Suttor). For some months past the deceased has been observed to be failing in strength, although he appeared to enjoy good health and spirits. About three weeks since Mr. Suttor caught cold and became ill. He continued gradually to sink until Thursday afternoon last, when he expired. - Bathurst Times, May 7.
