John Wilson Wilbow (1839–1925)

There died at the Home for Infirm, Windsor, on June 27, John Wilton Wilbow, at the age of 85 years. He was born at Pitt Town and was a son of the late James Wilbow. As a young man he married, at Tamworth, Miss Isabella Smith, and one child, Annie, now 50 years of age, was born to them. On the death of his first wife, he married, at the age of 40 years, Miss Susan Smallwood, and they had one daughter, Sarah, who is 41 years of age. His second wife predeceased him. He farmed in the Pitt Town district for many years. The remains were interred in the Church of England cemetery, Pitt Town, Rev. D. Baird (Presbyterian) officiating. Mr. Chandler was the undertaker.
