Harold John White (1916–1917)

A regrettable death occurred early yesterday morning, when Harold John, son of Major H. F. and Mrs. White of "Bald Blair" Station, died of pneumonia at "Sanmarez" Station, aged nine months. Major White left on active service with the 33rd Battalion for the birth of his son, and is still with his regiment in France. The sad event has provoked the deepest sympathy throughout the district for the bereaved parents.
