The remains of Mr. Edward Ridge, an old resident of Manly, well known in the commercial life of Sydney, were buried at Manly cemetery yesterday afternoon. Mr. Ridge was a native of Windsor. He left a widow one daughter (Mrs. Cecil Blaxland), and four sons – Ernest, Frank, Stanley, and Riley – all of whom have figured conspicuously in cricket and football circles.
