John Richmond (1870–1917)

The death of Mr. John Richmond, of Warrawong, Melton, took place suddenly at his home on Wednesday last at the age of 46. His father, Mr. James Richmond, of South Dean, Toorak, is now in England. Two brothers, who held commissions in the British army, have been killed in France. The late Mr. John Richmond was son-in-law of Mr. H. W. Staughton, of Melton, and his remains were interred in the family grave at Kew Cemetery yesterday. The Rev. Perry Martin, of St. Luke's, Brighton, and formerly of Melton, officiated at the graveside. Mr. A. A. Sleight had charge of the funeral arrangements.
