William Cunningham Ramsay (1856–1925)

Widespread regret was expressed during the week at the death of Mr William Ramsay, of Minninup, Capel, who passed, away on the 12th inst., at the age of 69 years.

Born at Minninup, the late Mr. Ramsay resided there all his life where he lived a very retired life, taking little interest in public affairs.

Deceased leaves a widow.

The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, leaving Minninup, Capel, where a service was held at 3.30 p.m. and proceeded to the Capel cemetery, where his remains, encased in a polished jarrah coffin, with silver ornaments, were interred in the presence of a large gathering of friends. The Rev. G. Morris officiated at the graveside.

Pall bearers were Messrs V. G. Roberts, W. T. Roberts, S. C. Rose, A. G. Layman, H. Lovelle, — Maitland.

The chief mourner was Mrs. Ramsay.

Many beautiful wreaths were received among those sending floral tributes being: Mrs. Ramsay, Rev. G.
