Edward Albert Newbigin died yesterday morning at his residence, Aden, corner of Adeney avenue and Cotham road, Kew. He was aged 55 years, and leaves a widow, daughter, and son. Mr. Newbigin had been trustee for nine years of the David Mitchell Estate. He had been associated fro 41 years with Mr. Mitchell and afterwards with the control of the estate. Dame Nellie Melba, a daughter of Mr. Mitchell, is one of the beneficiaries. Mr. Newbigin's funeral will leave the residenee for the Box Hill Cemetery at half-past 1 o'clock this afternonn.
