Regret was shared by a large circle of friends in Junee with Mr, G. T. Leggett of the Railway Department, Goulburn, in the loss of his eldest son, William, aged 23, who was killed in action, whilst serving .as a non-commissioned, officer, in the Life Guards. Young Leggett went to school for a number of years in Junee, where his father resided for a long period, when he was secretary, to the Junee Hospital, likewise, secretary to the Manchester Unity, I .O. Oddfellows for a number of years. The later body on Wednesday night last passed a vote of sympathy, with Past Grand G. T. Leggett and family in their sad bereavement.
