Mark Lazarus (1867–1938)

from Advocate

Mr. Mark Lazarus, one of the oldest members of the legal profession in Victoria, died to-day.

He caught a chill on Saturday, and it developed into pneumonia.

Mr. Lazarus was the father of Mrs. Joan Rosanove (Miss Vida Lazarus) of Melbourne, and Mr. J. Lazarus, of Ballarat, both of whom are barristers and solicitors.

The late Mr. Lazarus led a Spartan life, and took a morning dip in the sea at St. Kilda throughout the year.
