Edward Kemp (1857–1939)

Mr. Edward Kemp, of Wallsend, and formerly of Windsor, died suddenly recently in the South Sydney Hospital.

The funeral, which moved to the Western Road Cemetery, Parramatta, was largely attended. Rev. Keith Burton, a nephew of Mr. Kemp, conducted services at a chapel and in the Presbyterian portion of the cemetery. Sons and grandsons were the pall-bearers.

The chief mourners were Messrs. Arthur, James, Edward and Milton Kemp (sons), and Mesdames Turnbull and Hayes, of Wallsend (daughters).

Mr. Kemp, who was married twice, left a widow, besides the sons and daughters. Mesdames Laing (Cardiff), Lowe (Ebenezer), Stewart (Balmain), and Metherell (Epping) are sisters.
