John Joseph (Jack) Hart (?–1948)

Many of the older generation in Kiama will regret to learn of the death of Mr. John Joseph Hart, at his residence, 87 Western Road, Parramatta, on Easter Monday.

Better known in Kiama as Mr. Jack Hart, he was born here the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hart and later learned the tailoring trade and had his own business in Kiama for a number of years.

He was keen on sport and whilst here made a name as a cricketer.

On leaving here he went into business as a tailor in Sydney until the outbreak of the recent war when he became a pattern maker at Clyde Engineering Works.
