Her many friends will regret to learn that Miss Alice Grimwade died at her home at Whernside avenue, Toorak, yesterday. Until failing health rendered her practically an invalid some years ago, Miss Grimwade was actively engaged in charitable work in the city and suburbs. She was associated with the inauguration of the Alliance Francaise in Melbourne, and for a number of years acted as secretary to the society.
