Alfred Sheppard Grimwade (1874–1941)

Dr Alfred Sheppard Grimwade died at his home in Ryrie St, Geelong, last night. He had practised in Geelong for 15 years. Born in Melbourne, he was educated at the Melbourne Grammar School and Melbourne University. Dr Grimwade was well known in yachting circles in Victoria. He was a member of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club for 25 years, during which time he was a commodore. Dr Grimwade who was twice married is survived by a widow, 3 sons and 2 daughters.
