Colin John Geddes (1914–1937)

Mr. Colin John Geddes, whose death at the age of 23 years occurred on Friday, was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Geddes, of Bannerman-street, Cremorne. He was a former pupil of Trinity College and Sydney Church of England Grammar School, was a B.A. of the Sydney University, and was in the final stage of the LL.B. course. He had served as treasurer of the Students' Representative Council and the University Law Society, and as vice-president of the University Arts Society. He was also a member of the house committee of the University Union.

The funeral service, which was held at St. Chad's Church of England, Cremorne, and the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, was conducted by the Rev. E. C. Robison, rector, assisted by the Rev. G. F. B. Manning and the Rev. K. G. Aubrey.
