Alexander Murray Gardiner (1875–1945)

Mr Alexander Murray Gardiner, of Lauriston, Skipton, who died recently, was the second son of the late Alexander and Mary Gardiner. He had lived in Skipton district all his life. He always took a keen interest in agricultural and pastoral pursuits, of which he acquired an expert knowledge. He was also well known for his charitable activities.
