The death took place at the local hospital this morning, of Mr. James Fabar, a well-known resident of this district, who has resided here for a great number of years. The deceased, who was a laborer, was 67 years of age, and some five weeks ago he was admitted to the local hospital suffering from pneumonia. Though he received every care and attention, he passed peacefully away as stated this morning. He is survived by a wife and grown up family of sons and daughters. The remains will be interred in the Church of England portion of the local cemetery tomorrow morning. Mr. C. J. Shakespeare will have charge of the funeral arrangements.
