We regret to report the death of Mr Alfred Boultwood Ewers, of "Wallaroi" Frankston, Victoria, which occurred on the 5th instant at Frankston Private Hospital.
The late Mr. Ewers came to the Ungarie district with his brothers in 1896, and for many years carried on farming at "Belleforest," Ungarie. He later acquired the property known as "Boultwood" Ungarie, where he carried on farming and grazing until 1923, when he sold out and returned to Frankston, Victoria. Of a quiet and unassuming disposition, he was highly esteemed and respected by all who knew him.
His wife predeceased him four years ago, and a son, Mr. Ray Ewers, of "Wallaroi," Frankston, Victoria, and two brothers — Mr. C. E. Ewers, of Canterbury, Victoria, and Mr. George Ewers, of Condobolin — are left to mourn their sad loss.
