It in with feelings of the deepest sorrow we record the demise from pneumonic influenza of Miss Ollie, second daughter of Mrs. J. T. Evans by a former marriage, and step-daughter of Mr. J. T. Evans, Manager of the Bank of New South Wales, Ashfield, and who for many years occupied a similar position at Cowra. The very regrettable event took place on Wednesday evening at the residence attached to the Ashfield bank, after a very brief illness. The late Miss Ollie was well known in Cowra, having come here with Mr. and Mrs. Evans from Echuca when she was about three years old, and continued to reside with them until the family departed for Ashfield a couple of years ago. The very many amiable and good qualities of the lamented young lady, she was only aged about 30 years, endeared her in a very large circle of friends, all of whom have very heartfelt sympathy for the sorrowing family. Miss Lottie, Mr. and Mrs. Evans' eldest daughter, we much regret is still seriously ill. Mrs. H. S. Henley, of Bassett Downs, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs Evans, accompanied by her husband, left for Katoomba by car on Wednesday.
