Arthur Denne (Jock) Campbell (1893–1966)

Mr Arthur Denne Campbell, the great grandson of a founding father of Canberra district, Robert Campbell of Duntroon, died at the family property, Woden, on Sunday. He was 73.

His great grandfather's property is now Duntroon Military College.

Mr Campbell was born at Woden in 1893, the eldest child and only son.

He married Miss Elizabeth Higgins, the daughter of a Sydney doctor and the couple took over the management of the farm on the retirement of the elder Campbells.

He had been in ill health for some months before his death. His widow and three children survive him.
