John Edgar Terry (1884–1934)

Mr. John E. [Edgar] Terry, a well-known grazier, and husband of Mrs. Terry, the New South Wales aviatrix, died in the Gunnedah Hospital as the result of a motor accident. Mr. Terry was the only son of the late Richard Rouse Terry, of Denistone, Ryde. He was educated at The King's School, and formerly practised as an accountant in Sydney. For many years he had conducted extensive grazing operations in the Quirindi district. He is survived by Mrs. Terry and two sons. His eldest son, Richard, was fatally injured in a fire in 1931.
